This project consists of replacing approximately 600 feet of combined main sewer on Capitol Avenue between East 86 Street and East 89 Street.

Capitol Avenue Sewer Project

Located on the Following Streets:

  1. Capitol Avenue Between East 86th Street and East 89th Street.
    • Scheduled to commence the week of May 19, 2025.
    • This project consists of replacing approximately 600 feet of main sewer on Capitol Avenue Between East 86th Street and East 89th Street.
    • The Contractor is Terrace Construction Company, Inc.
    • Sewer excavation will take approximately 1 months to complete.
    • Pavement will be restored in the trench area and the street will be resurfaced within the limits of work in the summer of 2025.
    • We ask for cooperation in observing all traffic regulations and following detour signs during the duration of this project.
