PROJECT UPDATE: The main sewer construction on West 50th Street between Shadyside Avenue and Memphis Avenue has been completed. Roadway restoration will be finalized in the spring (2026)

West 50th Street Sewer Project

• Located on the following streets:

1. West 50th Street between Shadyside Avenue and Memphis Avenue

• Scheduled to commence the week of November 3, 2025
• Project consists of installing approximately 660 feet of storm main sewer on West 50th Street between Shadyside Avenue and Memphis Avenue.
• The Contractor is CATTS Construction, Inc.
• Sewer excavation will take approximately 1 months to complete. The pavement will be restored in the trench area and the street will be resurfaced within the limits of the work in the spring of 2026.
• We ask for cooperation in observing all traffic regulations and following detour signs.
